TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") govern the use of services provided by Vantastic Conversions Ltd , a campervan conversion company based in Northern Ireland.

Acceptance of Terms:

• By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not proceed with our services.

 

Definition of Terms:

• ‘Customer’ is the owner of the vehicle to be converted.

• “the Company” means Vantastic Conversions Ltd

 

Services:

• Our company specialises in handmade campervan conversions. We provide design consultation, construction, and installation services to transform vehicles into fully functional campervans.

 

Quotations and Pricing:

• To initiate the conversion process, Customers must contact us through our website, social media or via phone/email to discuss their requirements.

• All quotations provided by our company are estimates and subject to change.

• Prices may vary based on specific customisation requests, materials, labour costs, market fluctuations for equipment and supplies. Any changes to the initial quotation will be communicated and agreed upon with the client before proceeding.

• If a specific product is unavailable we reserve the right to purchase a suitable alternative.

• We will notify the Customer of any significant price increases before further work continues.

 

Deposits:

• Upon agreement of project details and pricing, a non-refundable deposit will be required to secure a booking. A deposit is a sum of money placed as security for your build slot and our services. It signifies a level of commitment from the buyer towards the seller. Build slots will only be allocated once the deposit has been received.

 

Payment:

• Payment terms and schedule will be outlined in the quotation provided to the Customer.

• Payments are binding once a contract is signed.

• Payments accepted via bank transfer.

• Any delays in payments could delay your conversion and will result in additional charges or extensions to the project timeline or the cancellation of the build slot.

• A surcharge of £100 for every day the payment is late will be charged and work on the conversion will stop. After 1 week the vehicle will be removed from our workshop and stored outside, the surcharge will still apply and accrue.

• Vantastic Conversions Ltd accept no responsibility for the vehicle due to weather or third party interference.

• Vantastic Conversions Ltd reserve the right re-claim any outstanding debts owed to them by either selling the customer's vehicle or pursuing legal action.

 

Customer Responsibilities:

• Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their requirements,

• Customers must also ensure their vehicle is in suitable condition for conversion, is clean prior to drop-off and complies with legal requirements for road use.

• Any delays caused by the Customer dropping their vehicle off after their agreed build slot will result in additional charges or extensions to the project timeline or the cancellation of the build slot.

• Any delays by the Customer in collecting the vehicle after the agreed collection date and late final payment will result in additional charges.

• A surcharge of £100 for every day the payment is late will be charged. The vehicle will be removed from our workshop on the agreed collection date and stored outside, the surcharge will still apply and accrue.

• Vantastic Conversions Ltd accept no responsibility for the vehicle due to weather or third party interference.

• Vantastic Conversions Ltd reserve the right re-claim any outstanding debts owed to them by either selling the customer's vehicle or pursuing legal action.

• We are insured however, Customers must ensure they have their own insurance policy for the duration of the conversion process at Vantastic Conversions Ltd.

 

Sourcing of Vehicles:

• We are happy to help offer advice and source suitable vehicles for your conversion. We are in no way liable for the vehicles condition, subsequent issues, repairs, warranties, finance or purchasing of the vehicle.

 

Cancellation and Refunds:

• If a Customer wishes to cancel a project after work has commenced, they will be subject to cancellation fees to cover any incurred costs. Refunds for cancelled projects will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, considering the extent of work completed and expenses incurred.

 

Delivery and Completion:

• Delivery and completion timelines will be provided to the Customer upon agreement of the project scope. Delays due to unforeseen circumstances such as material and equipment shortages, staff illness may occur. Our company will communicate any delays promptly and strive to minimise inconvenience to the Customer.

 

Warranty:

• We offer a warranty on our craftsmanship and installation services for a period of 1 year.

• This warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not extend to normal wear and tear or damage resulting from misuse or neglect, poor maintenance, care and storage of the vehicle.

• This excludes our natural live edge wood worktops which require regular maintenance after installation, you will be given maintenance advice in your campervan user manual.

• This excludes moisture and damp issues. We insulate to a high standard, how you use a campervan impacts how much moisture is created and how you manage it. You will be given maintenance advice in your campervan user manual.

• This excludes any damage caused by freezing. All pipework and tanks should be drained when not in use in cold climates.

• Winterised work undertaken can help prevent damage but we cannot guarantee this work, extreme temperatures and a customer's knowledge of maintaining and running a campervan in extreme temperatures can still cause damage.

• Any warranties on parts or materials supplied by third-party vendors are subject to the terms and conditions provided by the respective vendors.

• Our warranty does not cover conversions if you decide to hire-out the vehicle or sell the vehicle within the first year of warranty.

 

Insurance:

• Vantastic Conversions Ltd is insured to offer campervan conversion services. Although we are insured, customers are notified that vehicles are left with us at their own risk.

• Vantastic Conversions Ltd will not be liable for loss of property, vehicle costs or items left in the vehicle, in the event of damage or theft.

 

Modifications and Alterations:

• Customers must consult with Vantastic Conversions Ltd before making any modifications or alterations to the converted campervan.

• Unauthorised modifications may void the warranty and could compromise the safety and functionality of the vehicle.

 

Intellectual Property:

• All designs, drawings, and other intellectual property created by our company remain the property of Vantastic Conversions Ltd unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Customers may not reproduce or distribute our designs without prior consent.

 

Limitation of Liability:

• Our company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of our services, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, or data.

• Customers are responsible for ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of their campervan.

 

Governing Law:

• These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Northern Ireland.

 

Amendments:

• We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other communication channels. It is the responsibility of the Customer to review these Terms periodically for changes.
