We also convert midsize and compact vans like the Volkswagen Transporter and Ford Transit Custom – perfect for more agile builds, short getaways or clients who prefer a smaller footprint without compromising on quality or design. Whatever your vision, we’ll help you choose the ideal base to suit your lifestyle.
Our handcrafted conversions typically take between 8–12 weeks, depending on the complexity and design requirements. We’ll confirm a timescale at the outset and provide updates throughout, so you’re always in the loop.
It all begins with a simple first step – whether that’s a phone call, email, or message. We’ll have an initial chat to learn about your ideas, lifestyle needs, and budget. From there, we can often provide a rough estimate to give you an idea of cost and feasibility.
If you’re happy to proceed, we’ll then prepare a tailored design plan and a detailed proposal outlining everything from materials to layout and timelines. To secure your build slot, a £2,000 deposit is required – after which we’ll lock in your place in our schedule and begin preparations for your conversion. Throughout the process, we keep you fully updated, ensuring your vision is brought to life with precision and care.
Our conversion prices vary depending on your specific requirements, design preferences, and the size of your van. As a guide, most full conversions start from £30,000. This excludes the base vehicle and serves as an approximate starting point, subject to change based on your final specification.
Most of our builds are designed to be fully self-sufficient, often including features such as off-grid power systems, hot water, central heating, indoor shower, Gas free cooking facilities, and much more. However, every van is tailored to suit your lifestyle and budget, so we can adapt features as needed. Once we’ve discussed your vision, we’ll provide a clear and transparent quote – no hidden costs, just considered design and quality craftsmanship.
Every Vantastic conversion is built to be fully self-sufficient and ready for off-grid living – home is where you park it, with no need to rely on campsites. As standard, our vans are fully insulated and fitted with a gas-free setup, LiFePO₄ leisure batteries, a smart power monitoring system, hot and cold water, central heating, and cooking facilities with built-in extraction fans. We also include external work such as windows, shore sockets, and other key access points for comfort and convenience, along with essential safety equipment for peace of mind. Each build is thoughtfully designed to give you the freedom to travel without compromise.

Yes. Every Vantastic build is tailored to you. Whether it’s a sleek minimalist space or a fully off-grid tiny home on wheels, your van is designed with purpose, luxury, and individuality in mind.
Yes, you’re very welcome to visit our workshop – we love sharing the process behind our craftsmanship. Visits are strictly by appointment only, to ensure we can give you our full attention and maintain focus on the builds in progress. If you’d like to arrange a visit, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to book you in.
While we don’t offer in-house financing, we do provide a structured payment plan to help spread the cost of your conversion. Our current payment schedule is as follows:
• £2,000 deposit to secure your build slot
• 40% payment due prior to the build commencing
• 20% payment at the halfway point
• 20% final payment upon completion
This phased approach provides clarity and balance throughout the process. If you’re exploring external finance options, we’re happy to recommend reputable providers used by previous clients.
Yes, we offer worldwide delivery for completed campervans. No matter where you’re based, we can arrange secure and reliable transport to get your van safely to you. Delivery is quoted separately depending on your location, and we also provide a virtual handover to walk you through every detail – ensuring you’re fully confident and ready to begin your journey the moment it arrives.
